We offer unpaid internship programs to students and non-students to gain valuable skills and work experience to build a bridge for future careers. Interns are part of our staff team and aid with educational programs, outreach opportunities, NAMI El Paso events, and much more. NAMI El Paso has agreements with UTEP’s Masters in Social Work program, NMSU’s Family and Child Science program, and Arizona State’s Masters in Social Work program, and is willing to work with other colleges and universities. The internship typically lasts from 3 to 4 months and can be tailored to fit school or personal requirements. We invite you to apply and be a part of our team to promote mental health awareness and reduce the stigma in the community.
